W245 B-Class Compact Sports Tourer (Current)
The B-Class is a sports tourer produced by Mercedes-Benz. The W245 B-Class was first introduced in 2005. The B-Class is very similar to the A-Class, only slightly bigger in dimensions. The interior of the B-Class has an optional Panorama Sunroof or the Lamella Sunroof. The Lamella Sunroof has small glass panels which open separately. The various sunroofs add to the airy feeling of the cabin. The rear passengers also receive a generous amount of legroom. The interior specs of the B-Class and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class are the same. The B-Class features high quality materials for it's interiors. Leather is available as an option. Maastricht fabric with Artico is featured on the B200 Turbo. Zandvoort and Artico is featured on the Sport Package for the B200. Meanwhile, vehicles come in Aluminium trim or optional Myrtle wood trim. Soft touch keys are featured along with illuminating keys. Other options include COMAND APS, Thermotronic automatic climate control and Interior Motion Sensors. Note: B-Class models in some countries may not have some of the options featured above. The exterior features the current design trend of Mercedes-Benz. The B-Class features sharp striking headlamps, large muscular fender curves along with elegant creases over the body panels. The standard B-Class features a Manual 5-Speed Transmission. The B200 Turbo features a Manual 6-Speed Transmission. Available as an option is the Autotronic CVT Transmission. Other options include bi-Xenon headlamps, AMG Alloy Wheels, Luggage Rack and many more. Many safety features are standard such as ESP(Electronic Stability Program), ABS(Antilock Brake System), BAS(Brake Assist System), the Sandwich Concept, Cruise Control, airbags and much more. The B-Class offers a selection of engines. There is the B180 CDI, B200 CDI, B150, B170, B200 and the Top-of-the-Line B200 Turbo. The B-Class offers a lot for it's price. It is definately an affordable car with the premium quality of Mercedes-Benz.
